Although the Giverny Impressionisms Museum is mainly devoted to the Impressionist movement, it also aims to explore this aesthetic genre beyond the period to which it belongs. It does in fact focus on the artists who contributed to Impressionism but also to the movement’s forefathers and its late 19th century Post-Impressionist successors right down to the present-day ones. The museum is open 7 months of the year (from April to October) and houses between two and three exhibitions annually. It also hosts guided tours, conferences, workshops for both adults and children alike and may accommodate company representatives within the scope of business meetings. Thanks to its three exhibition rooms, its auditorium, restaurant and boutique, the museum has become one of Normandy’s venues which is not to be missed.
