On 24th March the Giverny Impressionisms Museum opened its doors to greet you to the 2019 season which will be marked with lots of new events and as always offering more Impressionist Art and cultural entertainment.
To mark its tenth anniversary, the musée des impressionnismes Giverny has decided to celebrate the work of Claude Monet by comparing it with that of his contemporary, the Symbolist painter Jean Francis Auburtin (1866–1930).
The exhibition Ker-Xavier Roussel. Private Garden, Dreamed Garden will present around one hundred works by the painter Ker-Xavier Roussel (1867–1944), ranging from his Nabis experiments of the 1890s to his huge, powerful mythological narrative works, which he worked on at the turn of the 20th century.
